Message	Speed mapping strictly looks at the speed and controls boost accordingly. Gear mapping (AVCR) I believe controls boost based on which gear you are in. I think it determines it by calculating the RPM's vs your speed. As to which is better, I dunno. I've never had an AVCR. But I do enjoy the Blitz speed mapping. And thanks to Guapo...
